Superbly built Simpson Yacht Designs Catamaran measuring 11.88 m x 7.01beam x .90 draft.
This craft is fitted out for extensive 1/2 man handling for extended cruising and/or living aboard. Accommodation comprises : 4 double cabins - 2 with en-suite bathrooms, fully fitted galley with inbuilt 12v refrigeration and 4 burner gas stove, work/storeroom, huge saloon with chart table opening onto the rear cockpit.
powered by twin Kubota 23 hp diesels with sail drives. Steering is hydraulic Hy-Drive with twin rams.
Rigging was manufactured by Banwell Marine Services to an exceptionally high standard. The sails were made by Ray Brown. and comprise mainsail, yankee and standard roller furl jibs. There are 3 Argo 50 winches plus Muir anchor winch.
Maria-Anna is built of Australian 1st grade marine ply, western red cedar strip planking. epoxy glass finish. All glued joints are done with epoxy.
Electronics include Uniden UHF, GME 27 meg radios, Navico WP100 auto pilot, Garman 220 colour GPS, Fish finder/ depth sounder. TV, stereo CD and tape player. E.P.I.R.B.
There is a solar panel and wind generator fitted. The boat is wired for shore power.
The boat comes with 8 unused safety vests and Zodiac rubber dinghy with Johnson 3.3 hp outboard.
Tank capacities are:
Fresh Water 2 x 180 litre each
Fuel 2 x 100 litre each
This is an exceptional example of a 1998 catamaran that presents as new.
